I am a freshman at the University of Kentucky. My major is Electrical and Computer Engineering. I want to gain experience in Signal Processing and Telecommunications. I am from Owensboro, KY, but I moved to Lexington, shortly after I graduated from Owensboro High School. I have worked at Best Buy for little over a year, and I enjoy doing anything associated with technology.

When it came time for me to choose my major it was a long hard process. I ended up choosing up choosing ME due to my constant curiosity about how things worked, and growing up around a father who loved his cars. Hey, my name is Allen, and I’m attending the University of Kentucky in hopes of becoming a Computer Scientist. My love of computers dates back to my childhood, when my dad would sit down to play video games with me, and later on, my brother’s. I wasn’t good at many things back then, and even now I lack a certain charm for the finer arts, but I can still kick butt when it comes to video games. As I grew older though, I realized I couldn’t live off of playing games alone, so now I aspire to create them instead. That’s my past, this is the present, and I’ve walked the path I have to realize my future.
